Project Description:

The project consisted of the construction of a new, 200,000 square foot, 5 story administration building for LCPS on a campus like setting. The project included extensive site work, the extension of a new road to serve the facility, a sophisticated HVAC system and electrical system, access control and security systems. The project also included a cast in place concrete, steel and pre-stressed concrete frame. The project had a brick veneer and curtainwall facade and combination of membrane and standing seam metal roof. Construction also included blasting and rock excavation, a paving system and storm/sanitary/water extensions on 11 acres of land. As the prime contractor, Costello Construction had overall responsibility for the entire project. In addition, Costello Construction self performed all of the site work, underground utilities, site concrete, cast in place building concrete, and carpentry.
