Project Description:

Costello Construction was the general contractor for the construction of a new parking garage at the VRE Manassas Station in downtown Manassas Virginia. The five level parking structure is 170,000 square feet and includes 531 parking spaces. The garage was built of both precast concrete panels and a cast in place concrete foundation. Some features include ornamental railings, hydraulic elevators and towers with glass windows. In addition, the project site was along an active train line so extensive coordination with VRE, Norfolk Southern (NR), Amtrak and government officials was required throughout the project duration.
