This six-story 120,000 gsf building houses a new library for the Silver Spring community as well as a coffee shop and an additional 32,000 sf of outdoor public spaces including a landscaped park.

The library features multi-use meeting rooms, a children’s program room and computer labs. There are computer workstations throughout the entire building as well as seating and electric outlets for computer use. The building features a flexible design, allowing spaces to be used in multiple capacities. Additionally, the Library includes a Disability Resource Center.

Designed LEED Silver, Silver Spring Library was awarded LEED Gold Certification. The building’s green construction elements are a testament to Costello Construction’s commitment to sustainable construction and design.
