Costello Construction was proud to be selected by the University of Maryland to build the new Chesapeake Analytics Collaborative Building, a state-of-the-art, LEED Gold-certified facility supporting the University’s extensive scientific research and its work to inform environmental policy for the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.

The new 14,000-square-foot, two-story facility is located on the existing campus and provides a dynamic environment for research, collaboration, and innovation. Expansive windows fill meeting rooms, offices, and other spaces with natural light while offering views of the surrounding campus. At the east end of the building, dramatic glass openings frame views toward the water, creating a strong connection between the facility and the Chesapeake Bay environment it serves. The building’s LEED Gold certification reflects a commitment to sustainable design and construction while creating a high-performance environment for its occupants.
