The Operations and Medical Training Facility for the Maryland Air National Guard consists of a 39,000 SF building and a 6,000 SF entry plaza, which required extensive coordination with airport and military operations due to its 4.75-acre site, located only a few hundred yards away from Martin State Airport’s MDANG 175th Wing’s active runway and flight line.

All site, concrete, and utility work including sediment and erosion controls, clearing, grading, excavating, concrete pile cap, grade beam, footing, foundation, slab on grade, slab on deck, storm water, domestic water, fire water, and sanitary sewer, was completed by Costello Construction, which equates to approximately 32% of the overall project cost.
